Over the last few days and week I have been seeing a lot of people on line that have be writing stuff that come off a bit mean and I have to wonder if they are meaning what they type to be that way.  This has put me to thinking about what I type.  When you can’t hear a person voice it can be hard to tell what there tone of voice is. You can write something that is mean to be sarcastic but because no one can hear you tone of voice, it can come off as sincere. I fell in to this when I was in high school and was dating someone long distends and send an email telling him how “Sorry” I was that he told something I has said the wrong way. I got a reply that was totally sincere, he didn’t get it and that’s when I knew that I didn’t word the email right.  When all you have is words then they mean a lot more so wording something just right because more important. I want to remind everyone about this so that you can watch what you type. I would hate to have a fight brake out because someone worded something in a way that came off as snotty or bitchy. I am going to give you another example. I sold something on ebay and this is the response I got back

“Hi, just like to let you know, that the music box arrived totally damaged and in a NOT working condition. It is overwound and not running at all. I know, that I just paid 11$ for it, but That is not what I expected at all! I am a seller myself and would not treat my customers like that!”
I do not know if this person intended to come off as accusing me of ripping them off or what but that is how it seems to me from the tone of the message.
Please be mindful of what you write and the tone you want you massages to take.
